Why source from Turkey

Four structural advantages — verified, not marketed.

Aggregated from public certifications, customs filings and exporter associations. We don't sell brands — we surface them.

01

Nearshore to Europe

Truck-and-sea routes from Istanbul reach Western European ports in 7–14 days — half the time of Asia.

02

Vertically integrated

Many Turkish mills run yarn-to-garment, ore-to-fixture and bean-to-can under one roof — fewer handoffs, tighter QA.

03

EU-compatible by default

CE, RoHS, GMP, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, halal — the certifications your buyers expect are already on the line.

04

Resilient supply alternative

A natural diversification path away from single-region dependency. Established export capacity, growing fast.

VERIFICATION & TRUST

An index buyers can act on without a second source.

We don't list every brand — we list the ones with documented export capacity. Each entry includes the source of every claim, the date we last verified it, and a one-click report flag if anything looks wrong. Buyers can see exactly how each datapoint was gathered.

How we gather catalog data

Transparent pipeline. Every datapoint sourced.

If you want to know where a fact came from, we'll show you. Every brand profile lists its sources and last-verified date.

01

Source discovery

Public exporter registries, Turquality lists, sector association rolls, and customs declarations seed the initial brand pool — never bought lists.

02

Chrome-driven scraping

A Claude-piloted Chrome workflow visits each brand site, navigates to product catalogs, and structures listings, contact details and certifications.

03

Normalization

Free-text fields are mapped to a shared schema — categories, certifications, MOQs, lead times — so brands can be compared apples-to-apples.

04

Deduplication

Holding companies, sub-brands and parallel domains are reconciled. One brand, one entry, with explicit parent/child relationships.

05

Human QA layer

Every brand passes a human review before going live — a sourcing analyst verifies certifications, photographs and export claims.

06

Recrawl cadence

Catalogs refresh every 7 days; certifications and contact details every 30. Last-updated date is shown on every entry.

FAQ

Sourcing from Turkey, answered.

Common questions about how the directory works and how to evaluate Turkish manufacturers.

01 What is TurkishBrands.org?
TurkishBrands.org is an independent, buyer-side directory of export-ready Turkish manufacturers. It catalogues 952 verified brands across 10 industries — textiles & apparel, food & beverage, home & furniture, electronics & appliances, cosmetics, machinery, renewable energy, software, packaging, and auto parts — with markets served, MOQ, lead time, certifications, and verification sources for each brand.
02 How is TurkishBrands different from B2B marketplaces like Alibaba?
TurkishBrands is a directory, not a marketplace. It does not take commissions, does not intermediate orders, and does not sell leads to brands. Buyers contact manufacturers directly. The directory is funded independently so brand inclusion and ranking are not pay-to-play.
03 How are brands verified?
Every brand entry is verified by a human sourcing analyst before going live. Verification checks include the brand website catalog, Turkish Exporters Assembly disclosures, Turquality program participation, and applicable sector association rolls. The verification source and last-verified date are shown on every brand profile.
04 How often is brand data refreshed?
Brand catalogs are re-crawled every 7 days. Certifications and contact details are refreshed every 30 days. The "Last verified" date on each brand profile reflects the most recent QA pass.
05 Which countries do Turkish manufacturers commonly export to?
The brands in this directory ship to the United States, Canada, the European Union, and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Filters on each industry and brand page show which markets a specific manufacturer serves.
06 What lead times can I expect from Turkish manufacturers?
For most consumer-goods sectors, lead times to Western Europe range 7–14 days via Istanbul or Izmir ports. Lead times to the United States range 18–28 days depending on port of entry. Lead time is shown on each brand profile.
07 How can a Turkish manufacturer get listed?
Manufacturers can request inclusion via the Submit page (https://turkishbrands.org/submit). There is no listing fee. Inclusion is editorial — submissions are reviewed by a sourcing analyst before being added to the directory.
